[207] "Friends, a wilderness-dwelling (āraññika) bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is living in the Saṅgha should not engage in visiting families before the meal or after the meal. If, friends, a wilderness-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is living in the Saṅgha engages in visiting families before the meal or after the meal, there will be those who say of him: 'Surely wandering about at the wrong time has been made a habit by this venerable wilderness dweller while dwelling alone in the wilderness at his own free will, and that habit besets him even when he has come to the Saṅgha' — there will be those who say this of him. Therefore a wilderness-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is living in the Saṅgha should not engage in visiting families before the meal or after the meal."
