[208] "Friends, a forest-dwelling (āraññaka) bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is staying in the Saṅgha should not be restless (anuddhatena bhavitabbaṃ) and should not be fickle (acapalena). If, friends, a forest-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is staying in the Saṅgha is restless and fickle, there will be those who say of him: 'Surely, while this venerable forest-dweller was dwelling alone in the forest at his own free will, restlessness and fickleness were much cultivated by him; and that same [restlessness and fickleness] besets him even when he has come to the Saṅgha.' There will be those who say this of him. Therefore a forest-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is staying in the Saṅgha should not be restless and should not be fickle.
