[210] "Friends, a forest-dwelling bhikkhu (āraññika) who has come to the Saṅgha and is dwelling in the Saṅgha should be easy to admonish (suvaca) and should have good friends (kalyāṇamitta). If, friends, a forest-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is dwelling in the Saṅgha is difficult to admonish and has bad friends, there will be those who say of him: 'What is the point of this venerable forest-dweller's dwelling alone in the forest at his own free will, seeing that this venerable one is difficult to admonish and has bad friends?' There will be those who say this of him. Therefore, a forest-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is dwelling in the Saṅgha should be easy to admonish and should have good friends."
