[221] When this was said, the venerable Mahāmoggallāna said to the venerable Sāriputta: "Friend Sāriputta, should these qualities be undertaken and observed only by a forest-dwelling bhikkhu, or also by one who dwells in the vicinity of a village?"
"Friend Moggallāna, these qualities should be undertaken and observed even by a forest-dwelling bhikkhu; how much more so by one who dwells in the vicinity of a village."
The Gulissāni Sutta, the ninth, is concluded.
