[402] When this was said, the wanderer Vekhanasa said to the Blessed One: "Magnificent, Master Gotama! Magnificent, Master Gotama! … May Master Gotama remember me as a lay follower (upāsaka) who has gone for refuge (saraṇa) for as long as life lasts, from this day forward."
The Vekhanasa Sutta, the tenth, is concluded.
The Paribbājakavagga (Chapter on Wanderers), the third, is concluded.
