[407] Then, Ānanda, Ghaṭikāra the potter and Jotipāla the brahmin youth, taking cleanser for scrubbing themselves while bathing, went to the river to bathe. Then, Ānanda, Ghaṭikāra the potter addressed Jotipāla the brahmin youth: "Friend Jotipāla, here, not far away, is the monastery of the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Self-Awakened One. Come, friend Jotipāla, let us approach to see the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Self-Awakened One; for I deem it good to see that Blessed One, the Arahant, the Perfectly Self-Awakened One."
