[411] Then, Ānanda, the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, instructed, roused, inspired, and gladdened Ghaṭikāra the potter and Jotipāla the brahmin student with a talk on the Dhamma. Then, Ānanda, Ghaṭikāra the potter and Jotipāla the brahmin student, having been instructed, roused, inspired, and gladdened by the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, with a talk on the Dhamma, delighted in and rejoiced at the words of the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One; then, rising from their seats, they paid homage to the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, circumambulated him keeping him on their right, and departed.
