[570] Then, soon after King Pasenadi of Kosala had departed, the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus: "Bhikkhus, this King Pasenadi of Kosala, having spoken monuments to the Dhamma (dhammacetiyāni), rose from his seat and departed. Learn the monuments to the Dhamma, bhikkhus; master the monuments to the Dhamma, bhikkhus; remember the monuments to the Dhamma, bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, the monuments to the Dhamma are beneficial; they belong to the fundamentals of the holy life." Thus spoke the Blessed One. Satisfied, those bhikkhus delighted in the Blessed One's words.
