[603] "Bhikkhus, the brahmin Brahmāyu was wise; he practised the Dhamma together with what accords with the Dhamma, and he did not trouble me on account of the Dhamma. With the utter destruction of the five lower fetters (saṃyojana), the brahmin Brahmāyu is one of spontaneous rebirth (opapātika), one who attains final Nibbāna there, of a nature not to return from that world." Thus spoke the Blessed One. Satisfied, those bhikkhus delighted in the Blessed One's words. The Brahmāyu Sutta, the first, is finished. __________________ The Sela Sutta
