Dhanañjānisutta

Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 13 · Section 702

[702] Then the Venerable Sāriputta, having established the brahmin Dhanañjāni in the inferior Brahmā world (brahmaloka) while there was still something more to be done, rose from his seat and departed. Then, not long after the Venerable Sāriputta had departed, the brahmin Dhanañjāni died and was reborn in the Brahmā world. Then the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus: "Bhikkhus, this Sāriputta, having established the brahmin Dhanañjāni in the inferior Brahmā world while there was still something more to be done, has risen from his seat and departed."
