[709] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery. Now on that occasion the student Subha, Todeyya's son, was residing in Sāvatthī, in the dwelling of a certain householder, on some business or other. Then the student Subha, Todeyya's son, said to the householder in whose dwelling he was residing: "Householder, I have heard this: 'Sāvatthī is not empty of arahants.' Which ascetic or brahmin, then, might we attend upon today?"
"Venerable sir, this Blessed One is dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery. Attend upon that Blessed One, venerable sir."
