[151] "And how, bhikkhus, does a true person (sappurisa) give the gift (dāna) of a true person? Here, bhikkhus, a true person gives a gift respectfully; he gives a gift having shown due regard; he gives a gift that is pure; he gives a gift as one who holds the view of what comes afterward (āgamanadiṭṭhika). Thus indeed, bhikkhus, does a true person give the gift of a true person."
