[274] Bhikkhus, therein right view (sammādiṭṭhi) comes first (pubbaṅgamā). And how, bhikkhus, does right view come first? One understands wrong livelihood (micchā-ājīva) as wrong livelihood, and understands right livelihood (sammā-ājīva) as right livelihood: that understanding of his is right view.
