[259] Therein, bhikkhus, right view (sammādiṭṭhi) comes first. And how, bhikkhus, does right view come first? One understands wrong intention (micchāsaṅkappa) as wrong intention, and understands right intention (sammāsaṅkappa) as right intention: that understanding of his is right view.
