[258] And what, bhikkhus, is right view that is noble, taintless, supramundane, a factor of the path? Bhikkhus, the wisdom, the faculty of wisdom, the fruit of wisdom, the investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya) factor of awakening (bojjhaṅga), the right view that is a factor of the path, in one whose mind (citta) is noble, whose mind is without taints (āsava), who is possessed of the noble path and is developing the noble path — this, bhikkhus, is right view that is noble, taintless, supramundane, a factor of the path.
He makes an effort to abandon wrong view and to attain right view: that is his right effort.
Mindfully he abandons wrong view; mindfully he dwells having attained right view: that is his right mindfulness (sati).
Thus these three things run around and circle around right view, namely: right view, right effort, and right mindfulness.
