Kāyagatāsatisutta

Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 292

[292] Thus have I heard. At one time the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery. Now on that occasion, when a number of bhikkhus had returned from the alms round after the meal and were sitting assembled together in the assembly hall, this conversation arose among them: "It is wonderful, friends, it is marvellous, how mindfulness directed to the body (kāyagatā sati), when developed and made much of, has been declared by the Blessed One—who knows, who sees, the Arahant, the Fully Enlightened One—to be of great fruit and great benefit." But this conversation of those bhikkhus was left unfinished.
