[373] "Venerable sir, I have heard this in the presence of the Blessed One, received it in his presence: 'Ānanda, when the Bodhisatta (bodhisatta) emerges from his mother's womb, the deities receive him first, humans afterwards.' This too, venerable sir, … I remember this too, venerable sir, as a wonderful and marvelous quality (acchariya-abbhūtadhamma) of the Blessed One."
