Bhūmijasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 405

[405] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Rājagaha, in the Bamboo Grove (Veḷuvana), the squirrels' feeding ground (Kalandakanivāpa). Then the Venerable Bhūmija, having dressed in the morning and taken his bowl and robe, approached the residence of Prince Jayasena; having approached, he sat down on the seat that had been prepared. Then Prince Jayasena approached the Venerable Bhūmija; having approached, he exchanged greetings with the Venerable Bhūmija, and when the courteous and memorable talk of greeting was concluded, he sat down to one side.
