[532] "And how, bhikkhus, is one drawn away among presently arisen dhammas? Here, bhikkhus, an uninstructed worldling (puthujjana) — who has not seen the noble ones, is unskilled in the Dhamma of the noble ones, undisciplined in the Dhamma of the noble ones; who has not seen true persons (sappurisa), is unskilled in the Dhamma of true persons, undisciplined in the Dhamma of true persons — regards form (rūpa) as self (attā), or self as possessing form, or form as in self, or self as in form; regards feeling (vedanā) … perception (saññā) … volitional formations (saṅkhārā) … regards consciousness (viññāṇa) as self, or self as possessing consciousness, or consciousness as in self, or self as in consciousness. It is thus, bhikkhus, that one is drawn away among presently arisen dhammas."
