[677] Then it occurred to the Blessed One: "This clansman (kulaputta) has gone forth dedicating himself to me. Suppose I were to teach him the Dhamma." Then the Blessed One addressed the venerable Pukkusāti: "Bhikkhu, I shall teach you the Dhamma. Listen to it and attend carefully; I will speak." "Yes, friend," the venerable Pukkusāti replied to the Blessed One.
