[726] "Venerable Sāriputta, just as two strong men might seize a weaker man each by an arm and scorch and roast him over a pit of glowing coals, even so, venerable Sāriputta, there is an extreme burning in my body. Venerable Sāriputta, I am not keeping well, I am not getting by. My painful feelings (vedanā) are severe; they are increasing, not decreasing; their increase is evident, not their decrease."
