[745] "Just as, friend Sāriputta, a skilled butcher of cattle or a butcher's apprentice might carve up a belly with a sharp butcher's knife, even so, friend Sāriputta, violent winds beyond measure carve up my belly. Friend Sāriputta, I am not keeping well, I cannot carry on; my painful feelings (vedanā) are grievous and increasing, not decreasing; their increase is evident, not their decrease."
