[781] Then the Venerable Nandaka, when that night had passed, having dressed in the morning and taken his bowl and robe, entered Sāvatthī for alms. Having walked for alms in Sāvatthī, after the meal, on his return from the almsround, he approached the Rājakārāma with a companion (attadutiyo). Those bhikkhunīs saw the Venerable Nandaka coming from afar; having seen him, they prepared a seat and set out water for the feet. The Venerable Nandaka sat down on the seat prepared, and having sat down, he washed his feet. Those bhikkhunīs, having paid homage to the Venerable Nandaka, sat down to one side.
