[782] When those bhikkhunīs were seated to one side, the Venerable Nandaka said this to them: "Sisters, this will be a talk by way of questioning. Herein, when you understand, you should say 'We understand'; when you do not understand, you should say 'We do not understand'; or whoever has doubt or perplexity should question me back about it thus: 'Venerable sir, how is this? What is the meaning of this?'"
"Venerable sir, even by this much we are pleased and delighted with the noble Nandaka, in that the noble Nandaka invites us in this way."
