Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 793

[793] Then the Venerable Nandaka, having exhorted those bhikkhunīs with this exhortation, dismissed them, saying: "Go, sisters; it is time." Then those bhikkhunīs, having delighted in and rejoiced at the Venerable Nandaka's words, rose from their seats, paid homage to the Venerable Nandaka, circumambulated him keeping him on their right, and approached the Blessed One. Having approached, they paid homage to the Blessed One and stood to one side. As those bhikkhunīs stood to one side, the Blessed One said this to them: "Go, bhikkhunīs; it is time." Then those bhikkhunīs, having paid homage to the Blessed One and circumambulated him keeping him on their right, departed.
