[848] Furthermore, Sāriputta, a bhikkhu should reflect thus: 'Have I developed the seven factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga)?' If, Sāriputta, a bhikkhu, reviewing, knows thus: 'I have not developed the seven factors of awakening,' then, Sāriputta, that bhikkhu should strive for the development of the seven factors of awakening. But if, Sāriputta, a bhikkhu, reviewing, knows thus: 'I have developed the seven factors of awakening,' then, Sāriputta, that bhikkhu should dwell with that very rapture (pīti) and gladness, training day and night in wholesome dhammas.
