Nandanasutta

[258] Standing to one side, the young deva (devaputta) Nandana addressed the Blessed One in verse: "I ask you, Gotama of broad wisdom — unobstructed is the Blessed One's knowledge and vision (ñāṇadassana) — What kind of person do they call virtuous? What kind of person do they call wise? What kind of person lives on, having transcended suffering (dukkha)? What kind of person do the deities worship?"
