[462] Then Māra the Evil One, having conjured up the form of an ox (balibadda), approached those bowls. Then a certain bhikkhu said this to another bhikkhu: "Bhikkhu, bhikkhu! That ox may break the bowls." When this was said, the Blessed One said to that bhikkhu: "That is no ox, bhikkhu. That is Māra the Evil One, come in order to confound your vision (vicakkhukammāya)."
