[494] Then Māra the Evil One, taking his lute, yellow like a ripe beluva fruit, approached the Blessed One; and having approached, he addressed the Blessed One in a verse: "Above, below, and across, in the cardinal and the intermediate directions, searching, I do not find him: where has that Godhika gone?"
