[754] On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Rājagaha, at the Kāḷasilā (Black Rock) on the slope of Isigili, together with a great Saṅgha of bhikkhus, about five hundred bhikkhus, all of them arahants. Thereupon the Venerable Mahāmoggallāna was searching their minds with his own mind — [minds] liberated, without acquisitions (nirūpadhi).
