[396] Those who abstain from the destruction of life (pāṇātipāta) … those who abstain from taking what is not given (adinnādāna) … those who abstain from sexual misconduct (kāmesumicchācāra) … those who abstain from false speech (musāvāda) … those who abstain from divisive speech (pisuṇā vācā) come together and converge with those who abstain from divisive speech; those who abstain from harsh speech (pharusā vācā) come together and converge with those who abstain from harsh speech; those who abstain from idle chatter (samphappalāpa) come together and converge with those who abstain from idle chatter.
