[423] He was dwelling at Sāvatthī. … There the Blessed One … "Bhikkhus, this saṃsāra is without discoverable beginning (anamatagga). A first point is not discerned of beings who, hindered by ignorance (avijjā) and fettered by craving (taṇhā), run on and wander on."
