[575] But, Bhikkhus, whatever ascetics or brahmins understand as it really is (yathābhūta) the origin (samudaya) and the passing away, the gratification, the danger, and the escape in regard to gain, honour, and renown … [having realized it for themselves with direct knowledge, they enter upon and] dwell [therein].
