[656] "Just now, friend, as I was descending from Mount Gijjhakūṭa, I saw a bhikkhu moving through the air. His outer robe (saṅghāṭi) was ablaze, blazing up, all aflame; his bowl too was ablaze, blazing up, all aflame; his waistband too was ablaze, blazing up, all aflame; his body too was ablaze, blazing up, all aflame. And he was uttering cries of anguish."
"Bhikkhus, that bhikkhu was an evil bhikkhu in the dispensation (pāvacana) of Kassapa, the Perfectly Enlightened One (sammāsambuddha)."
