[694] "Just as, friend, small stone pebbles set beside the Himavā, the king of mountains, serve merely for juxtaposition, even so do we, set beside the Venerable Mahāmoggallāna, serve merely for juxtaposition. For the Venerable Mahāmoggallāna is of great psychic power (iddhi), of great might; if he wished, he could remain for an aeon (kappa)."
