Nandasutta

[709] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's Park. Then the Venerable Nanda, the son of the Blessed One's maternal aunt, having put on robes that had been pressed and pressed again on both sides, having applied ointment to his eyes, and taking a glossy bowl, approached the Blessed One; having approached, he paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down to one side.
