[285] "Bhikkhus, what is identity (sakkāya)? It should be answered: the five aggregates subject to clinging (pañcupādānakkhandhā). Which five? Namely: the form aggregate subject to clinging … the consciousness aggregate subject to clinging. This, bhikkhus, is called identity."
