[505] Sāvatthī. "Bhikkhus, the desire and lust (chandarāga) for craving (taṇhā) for form — this is a corruption of the mind (upakkilesa). The desire and lust for craving for sounds … for craving for odors … for craving for tastes … for craving for tangibles … for craving for dhammas — this is a corruption of the mind. When, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu … in the dhammas to be realized by direct knowledge (abhiññā)."
