[569] At Sāvatthī. Sitting to one side, the wanderer (paribbājaka) Vacchagotta said this to the Blessed One: "What now, Master Gotama, is the cause, what is the condition …?" "It is, Vaccha, because of not understanding (ananubodhā) form (rūpa) … because of not understanding the practice leading to the cessation of form …"
