[92] Bhikkhus, if a bhikkhu's mind (citta) has become dispassionate toward the form element (rūpadhātu), it is liberated from the taints (āsava) through non-clinging. If toward the feeling element (vedanādhātu) ... If toward the perception element (saññādhātu) ... If toward the volitional-formations element (saṅkhāradhātu) ... If, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu's mind has become dispassionate toward the consciousness element (viññāṇadhātu), it is liberated from the taints through non-clinging. Being liberated, it is steady; being steady, it is content; being content, it is not agitated; not being agitated, he personally attains final Nibbāna (parinibbāyati). He understands: "Birth (jāti) is destroyed, the holy life has been lived, what had to be done has been done, there is no more for this state of being."
