[613] "Here, headman (gāmaṇi), a certain teacher speaks thus, holds such a view: 'Whoever destroys life — all such are bound for a state of deprivation (apāya), bound for hell (niraya); whoever takes what is not given — all such are bound for a state of deprivation, bound for hell; whoever engages in misconduct in sensual pleasures — all such are bound for a state of deprivation, bound for hell; whoever speaks falsehood — all such are bound for a state of deprivation, bound for hell.'"
