[633] Here again, headman (gāmaṇi), a certain enjoyer of sensual pleasures (kāmabhogī) seeks wealth righteously, without violence; having sought wealth righteously, without violence, he does not make himself happy and satisfied, does not share it, and does not make merit. Here again, headman, a certain enjoyer of sensual pleasures seeks wealth righteously, without violence; having sought wealth righteously, without violence, he makes himself happy and satisfied, but does not share it and does not make merit. Here again, headman, a certain enjoyer of sensual pleasures seeks wealth righteously, without violence; having sought wealth righteously, without violence, he makes himself happy and satisfied, shares it, and makes merit; yet he uses that wealth while being tied to it, infatuated with it, and blindly absorbed in it, not seeing the danger, without the wisdom of escape. Here again, headman, a certain enjoyer of sensual pleasures seeks wealth righteously, without violence; having sought wealth righteously, without violence, he makes himself happy and satisfied, shares it, and makes merit; and he uses that wealth without being tied to it, not infatuated with it, not blindly absorbed in it, seeing the danger, possessing the wisdom of escape.
