[632] Here, headman (gāmaṇi), a certain enjoyer of sensual pleasures (kāmabhogī) seeks wealth both righteously and unrighteously, both by violence and without violence; having sought wealth both righteously and unrighteously, both by violence and without violence, he does not make himself happy, does not gratify himself, does not share it, and does not make merit (puñña). Here again, headman, a certain enjoyer of sensual pleasures seeks wealth both righteously and unrighteously, both by violence and without violence; having sought wealth both righteously and unrighteously, both by violence and without violence, he makes himself happy and gratifies himself, but does not share it and does not make merit.
