Saddhāsutta

[1012] "Venerable sir, whatever energy (vīriya) he has, that is his faculty of energy (viriyindriya). For, venerable sir, when a noble disciple (ariyasāvaka) has faith (saddhā) and his energy is aroused, it may be expected of him that he will be mindful, possessed of supreme mindfulness (sati) and discretion, one who remembers and recollects what was done long ago and what was said long ago."
