[1121] "'This is the basis of spiritual power (iddhipādo) possessed of concentration (samādhi) due to mind (citta) and the volitional formations of striving (padhānasaṅkhāra)': thus, bhikkhus, in regard to things (dhammesu)¹ not heard before, there arose in me vision (cakkhu), there arose knowledge (ñāṇa), there arose wisdom (paññā), there arose true knowledge (vijjā), there arose light (āloka).
"'This very basis of spiritual power possessed of concentration due to mind and the volitional formations of striving is to be developed': thus, bhikkhus, … 'It has been developed': thus, bhikkhus, in regard to things not heard before, there arose in me vision, there arose knowledge, there arose wisdom, there arose true knowledge, there arose light."
