Suttapiṭaka · Saṁyuttanikāya · Mahāvaggasaṁyutta · Vol. 19 · Section 1417

[1417] Seated to one side, Jotiya the householder said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, the lay follower (upāsaka) Dīghāvu is sick, afflicted, gravely ill. He pays homage with his head at the Blessed One's feet, and he says thus: 'It would indeed be good, venerable sir, if the Blessed One would come to the residence of the lay follower Dīghāvu, out of compassion.'" The Blessed One consented by silence.
