Paṭhamadevacārikasutta

[1499] "It is good, friends, to be possessed of unwavering confidence (aveccappasāda) in the Buddha: 'Thus indeed is that Blessed One … teacher of devas and humans, Buddha, Blessed One.' By reason of possessing unwavering confidence in the Buddha, friends, some beings here, with the breakup of the body, after death, are reborn in a good destination, a heavenly world. It is good, friends, … in the Dhamma … in the Saṅgha. It is good, friends, to be possessed of the virtues dear to the noble ones—unbroken … conducive to concentration (samādhi). By reason of possessing the virtues dear to the noble ones, friends, some beings here, with the breakup of the body, after death, are reborn in a good destination, a heavenly world."
