[1517] Then Mahānāma the Sakyan and Godhā the Sakyan approached the Blessed One; having approached, they paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down to one side. Sitting to one side, Mahānāma the Sakyan said this to the Blessed One: "Here, venerable sir, I approached Godhā the Sakyan; having approached, I said this to Godhā the Sakyan: 'Godhā, possessed of how many qualities (dhammā) do you understand a person to be a stream-enterer (sotāpanna), no longer subject to the lower realms (avinipātadhamma), fixed in destiny (niyata), with awakening as his final destination (sambodhiparāyana)?'"
