[1569] Then in the morning, the Venerable Ānanda dressed, and taking his bowl and robe, approached the residence of Anāthapiṇḍika; having approached, he sat down on the seat that had been prepared. Having sat down, the Venerable Ānanda said this to the householder Anāthapiṇḍika:
