[1653] "[Bhikkhus, these four dhammas, when developed and cultivated,] lead to penetrative wisdom (nibbedhikapaññā). What four? Association with good persons (sappurisasaṃseva), hearing the true Dhamma (saddhammassavana), wise attention (yonisomanasikāra), and practice in accordance with the Dhamma (dhammānudhammapaṭipatti). These four dhammas, bhikkhus, when developed and cultivated, lead to penetrative wisdom."
The Mahāpaññavagga, the seventh, [is finished].

Great, wide, abundant, deep;
diligent, vast, and much;
swift, light, joyous, quick;
sharp, and penetrative [wisdom].
